Are you fed up of making hundreds of small celebration cakes for barely any profit? Are you ready to take your business to the next level and learn how to attract Brides and Grooms who are willing to pay for the quality and service you can offer?

Maybe you’ve been making celebration cakes for a while now and while you’re good at it, and you enjoy it, you feel unfulfilled replicating the same old Frozen and Paw Patrol cakes and want to push your business further. Maybe you want the opportunity to be more creative, to focus on fewer, bigger cakes – and, earn more money!

Let’s face it, you work hard enough!

You have the skills but maybe lack clarity on how to push your business forward and attract brides and grooms who value your skill and style and are willing to pay for it.

You could spend years of trial and error, figuring it out by yourself and feeling frustrated in the meantime – or you could sign up to this course and gain all my knowledge from my years of experience! In this 18 week course, I will be sharing with you all my advice, as well as that from some special guest experts – to help you to gain those high value orders and carve out a niche for your business in the wedding industry.

The course has been invaluable to me. After spending the 2 years since I started my business constantly questioning whether I am good enough to make a real go of it, I now feel confident that I am. I am so excited to get my rebrand sorted and implement everything I’ve learned. I feel like the course has really set me on the right path and although I’m very much still a work in progress, I feel like 2021 will be my year. I honestly couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Lauren is the owner of The Honey Bee Wedding Cake Company. She has rapidly moved her business from being run alongside her main job to becoming a successful full time wedding cake designer, alongside looking after her young twin sons. Her work has been featured many times in print and online and her diary is fully booked at least a year in advance.

With a career background in teaching (business and economics) and investment banking, alongside a degree in Business Management, Lauren has a wealth of knowledge and expertise to share. She is passionate about working with ambitious cake makers who are looking to boost their business potential, and increase their incomes.

So What Does it Involve?

The course will be run over 18 weeks, starting Tuesday 13th October, covering 15 modules and allowing for two implementation weeks (there will be a lot to learn!) and a Q&A session at the end.

The sessions will be held via zoom, where Lauren (or a guest expert) will share a presentation on that week’s topic. The power points and a worksheet to help you take action on each topic will be provided. Each session will be around 60 mins with 15 mins for questions.

Ideally you attend live so you can ask questions but the sessions will all be recorded and available to watch and rewatch at any time. You’ll have 12 months access to the videos and the powerpoints / worksheets will be downloadable and yours to keep for life.

There will be a dedicated VIP Facebook group if you want to ask questions having watched on replay. This is a great space to get to know the other lovely cake makers on the course, and to share successes or ask for advice.

I highly recommend this course, because Lauren’s support and mentoring helped me achieve in 12 weeks things that I’d been meaning to do for over a year.

I think that having both a mentor who is kind and patient, and a group of like minded people to talk to, is a wonderful combination that will result in professional and personal growth for anyone willing to put in the time. The lessons fly by, but the worksheets offer an even more in depth look at your individual business, which will be valuable for years to come as my business changes and grows.

I booked onto the course because I needed some clear direction to improve my business from a proven professional who was in exactly the same industry as me.

I now have a more positive business mindset and you have reinforced how I should value my worth – you have helped me see that niching down to wedding cakes is the right decision for me from a business and creative satisfaction standpoint.

I would highly recommend your course to other cake makers looking to take their businesses to the next level and attract more wedding orders and higher budget clients.  You have shown me that it is not just one thing I should change to improve and grow my business but several areas that each deserve attention and you have set out a framework with clear actionable steps and resources to help achieve these improvements.

I want you to know that I’ve been where you are and I know it’s hard. When you’re working so hard on your business you just don’t have the time to step back and work on how you’re going to move forward.

But right now, while things are a little quiet, it’s the perfect opportunity to get yourself ready. When the world starts turning again, will you be ready and raring to take those orders? Or will you be back in the same place you were before this nightmare hit? You might be wondering if now is a good time to get involved in the wedding industry at all! But it really is – I, and many other cake makers I know are fully booked for 2021 and already busy for 2022. With all the postponements happening, the demand for wedding suppliers is going to be huge next year. And you’ll be there – ready to pick up those orders!

It has taken me years to work out everything that I know now. I’ve had the benefit of my business degree and career but I still had to work out so much of this myself as I’ve gone along. If you’re in my free Facebook group, or were part of the Rise Up challenge, you’ll know I’m exceptionally generous with my knowledge – I won’t hold anything back – I really am an open book and happy to share all my expertise with you.

The time is now! Let’s do this!

The Investment

I know times are tough right now so I am offering the programme at a special price of  £597 when paid in full.

If you prefer, you can pay over 5 monthly payments of £125 (= total £625 ).

That’s a ridiculously low price for all of the knowledge, support, resources you will get.

Imagine where you will be in six months time after making that investment?! Just two wedding cake bookings will more than cover the cost of this course and you’ll be much further ahead, much more quickly. I wish this course had been available to me four years ago

If you choose to pay in instalments, please note the full amount will be due even if you choose to stop before the end.

Yes, I'm in! How do I sign up?

Before making payment please read the following Terms & Conditions:

To reserve your place, either leave your details below to pay by bank transfer, or click the button to pay online via Stripe. Payment constitutes acceptance of the Ts&Cs above. A copy of these will be sent to you via email.

Before this course, I had a huge issue with confidence, always thinking I’m not good enough, comparing myself to others but with the support of Lauren and the ladies in the group I definitely feel good about myself and my work – and I feel like I should charge for my skill because I am good enough.

I also had problems with pricing which Lauren went into so much detail with including spreadsheets to work out every individual cost, breaking every little bit down to show us how much time and effort we do put into our cakes and lots of little costs that you forget about, but now after discussing this and being shown everything in detail I now feel a lot more confident in my pricing.

I cannot recommend this course enough to anyone wanting to progress into the wedding industry, it’s a great course with a very experienced teacher. If you want to get into weddings I would definitely book on.
